“The nights young but it’s looking like I’m dead
But count me in to do it all again
For one more song
For one more drive
For one more night to feel alive”

Aw yis. If my roommate’s documentary premiere isn’t this night, will most assuredly be there enjoying Grown Ups
Officially started scripting The Patient today. Feels good to finally be making forward progress on this script that’s been hanging over our heads for a while. I stopped at the first bit of dialogue… No idea how to write that, but the entire story is pretty well mapped out. Still a work-in-progress, but I’m expecting a pretty solid piece to come from this.
In other news, I’m finally starting to get a handle on over-crowded schedule thanks to google calendar.
Now I’m just prepping myself for production-meeting-Friday.
Shot on Sony V1U with the Redrock Micro adapter for 35mm. This is taken from a friend’s vimeo. We dedicated two of our class days in TC 491 (Advanced Lighting and Production Technique) to shooting these short scenes. Using the aforementioned equipment, a standard Arri kit and the enviroment around us, we constructed these scenes with direction from the instructor and a little improv from our fellow students. I did some work with the camera, lights and dolly, as well as sitting in as an extra.
This is a music video created for my TC 340 final project. The song is House Ghost, by Best Fwends
TC 491 Final Project
We began shooting our 30-second commercial for the advanced lighting class yesterday; wrapping on principle photography on Sunday. Our subject is Richard’s Wild Irish Rose - ostensibly bum wine. I would by lying if I said we didn’t indulge a little but, though I guess consuming that vile swill hardly counts as indulgence… We didn’t do this without purpose, of course… we certainly needed less liquid in the bottle and there’s only one proper way to go about that.
Video to come soon-ish
